Job Summary:

The Picker/Order Selector I, will be responsible for filling customer orders and preparing orders for shipment according to company standards including but not limited to; RF scanners, warehouse management systems, printers, conveyors, and label applicators in preparation for items shipped. This position will gain hands-on experience picking, packaging, labeling, dating, and shipping products to customers. Obtains merchandise from bins or shelves and ensures all orders filled are complete and correct. May be required to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and wire carts.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Accurately perform systematic inventory transactions using a computer or handheld device to pick customer orders.
• Prepare orders by packing boxes; and placing orders in the delivery area for pickup.
• Fill all customer orders accurately and on time
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, packing area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Fold and pack filters according to work instructions and inventory requirements.
• Swiftly move materials between workstations using pallet jacks or carts.
• Execute any other assigned duties promptly and effectively.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of standing and/or sitting at a workstation
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Work Schedule:

1st shift: M-F 7:30am - 4pm

3rd shift: M-Th 5pm - 3:30am
