Job Summary

Oversees large, complex data sets and utilizes advanced programming methods and statistical software for raw data extraction and aggregation, statistical analysis, and document programming to create analytic data files. Creates statistical reports; assists with manuscripts, grants, and regulatory submissions. Maintains data infrastructure and tracks data assets. Adheres to all protocols.

Essential Functions

• Manage large-scale analytic datasets and coordinate with the data manager at collaborating site
• Conduct analyses, including multilevel/hierarchical, longitudinal and spatial analyses
• Contribute to scientific manuscripts, including drafting statistical analysis sections
• Communicate with investigators and trainees about planned and ongoing analyses; help to develop analytic plans
• Adept at SAS, experience with neighborhood-level and census data preferred
• Ability to create publication-quality figures and tables (ggplot2, matplotlib, Tableau, or similar)
• Skill in translating complex model outputs into accessible visuals for non-technical audiences
• Ability to build or at learn how to build dashboards or interactive data displays (R Shiny, Quarto, or similar)
