Job Summary:
The Level 1 Apprentice Electrician assists with electrical installations under the Foreman’s supervision. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe, clean job site, supporting the team with materials and tools, and completing a 4-year apprenticeship program required for future licensing in the state. Apprentices must track and document On-the-Job Training (OJT) hours and pass each year of the program once enrolled.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in electrical installations.
- Ensure job site safety and cleanliness.
- Provide materials and tools as needed.
- Track OJT hours and complete apprenticeship coursework.
Minimum Requirements:
- Reliable Transportation.
- Physical ability to perform job duties.
- Strong communication skills.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally more with assistance.
- Prolonged standing and walking on various surfaces.
- Frequent ladder use and work at heights.
- Regular bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces.
- Frequent use of hands for tools and precision work.
- Good vision and hearing required; use of PPE, including safety glasses and hearing protection, is mandatory.
- Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
Safety Requirements:
- Comply with OSHA safety guidelines and wear PPE as needed.
- Report hazards and follow safe work practices.
Work Environment:
Indoors and outdoors in various settings, exposed to extreme weather, confined spaces, and high elevations.
- Protective equipment is required in noisy, dusty, or hazardous environments.
- Work may involve tight spaces and handling heavy tools.
- Overtime, weekend, and emergency work may be required.
