BRG’s Corporate Finance Marketing & Business Development Analyst is a unique opportunity to learn the inner workings of a professional services firm, gain exposure to many facets of the business, and interact with the highest levels of the organization. This internal role will touch most all aspects of supporting a professional services firm including marketing, business development, recruiting, project management, executive reporting, and other high-profile priorities. In supporting BRG Corporate Finance broadly, this role will gain insight into our core service offerings including Turnaround & Restructuring, Finance Excellence, Performance Improvement, Transaction Advisory, and more.

The Marketing & Business Development Analyst will be responsible for a wide range of activities and will include exposure to client-facing consultants. This role will report to the Director of Business Development & Marketing with additional responsibilities supporting overall Corporate Finance Practice operations. Responsibilities and exposure to the Corporate Finance practice and BRG Corporate will evolve and heighten as the analyst gains experience.

The ideal candidate is a professional who can prioritize and manage a multifaceted workload in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. The individual should be comfortable working collaboratively across the practice as well as having the ability to work autonomously on discrete assignments. The candidate should be a proficient analytical thinker with very strong PowerPoint (PPT), written and verbal communication skills. Candidates must be able to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations and interact with colleagues of all levels and disciplines.

Job Responsibilities

  • Utilize PowerPoint while assisting in the development of proposals to win new assignments and other client-facing materials
  • Participate in driving practice development initiatives to help drive go-to-market efforts to win new business and support the continued growth of the practice
  • Proactively manage workload across multiple sub-functional areas including marketing, business development, operations, reporting, etc.
  • Utilize communication, presentation and analytical skills to complete activities while looking for opportunities to improve processes and methodologies.
  • Execute and respond timely to ad-hoc requests from BRG Corporate Finance senior leadership and client-facing professionals
  • Support AI-related automation initiatives aimed at improving internal efficiencies and effectiveness across BRG Corporate Finance

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Communications, English, Marketing and/or Business Management majors preferred
  • Depending on level of experience and capabilities, this role could be a Senior Analyst

Experience:

  • Two (2) plus years of experience in sales support, marketing, and/or professional services role
  • Advanced proficiency required in both MS PowerPoint (PPT) and MS Excel
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Abilities:

  • Significant experience creating presentation and/or sales support materials in PowerPoint (pitches, proposals) to support winning new clients or projects
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and proven time management skills
  • Fast learner, eager to take on new projects and learn new skills
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve goals, multi-task and prioritize activities
  • Forward-looking thinker who demonstrates the ability to anticipate needs
  • Proactive problem solver willing to take initiative
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships
  • Resourceful team-player with the ability to self-motivate and work independently
  • Positive approach along with the highest level of customer/client service
  • Flexibility in adjusting work schedule based on client demands

Salary Range: $80,000 to $120,000 per year.
