Job Summary

This team provides centralized investment accounting and reporting across the organization, ensuring all investment activity is captured accurately in the general ledger. The team supports internal and management reporting, statutory and regulatory filings, board reporting, and the preparation of financial statements. In addition, the team is leading an accounting system upgrade to automate currently manual processes and improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform month-end and quarter-end close activities, including preparing journal entries and producing management and financial reports

  • Support internal, executive, and regulatory reporting requirements, including board and statutory reporting

  • Own and manage designated accounting areas, providing subject matter expertise and ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions

  • Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and efforts to reduce manual processes

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams through meetings, training, issue resolution, and ongoing operational support

*Ability to work until 5PM PST is required*

*Ability to travel onsite to Portland, OR 1-2 times a year is highly preferred. *

Skills and Background You’ll Need

Education: Bachelor’s degree required in accounting or related field.

Experience: 2+ years’ professional experience in accounting.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Power BI experience is preferred.

  • CPA eligible required; CPA designation preferred.

  • General investment or investment accounting experience preferred.

  • Ability to work until 5PM PST is required.

  • Ability to travel onsite to Portland, OR 1-2 times a year is highly preferred.

  • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance.

The actual compensation for this role will be based on a combination of education and experience, knowledge and skills, position budget, internal equity, and market data.

Salary Range:

$66,000.00 - $96,250.00
