Ontario Christian School is seeking a qualified Long Term Sub for our Special Education Teacher. This educator will design and deliver engaging lesson plans while creatively integrating biblical truth into a rigorous, standards-based curriculum. Through both instruction and mentorship, the teacher will guide students in their academic growth while supporting their spiritual development. The position primarily involves teaching a small class of mild to moderate high school students with special needs.

The ideal candidate will preferably have 5+ years of classroom teaching experience in the applicable subject area and a passion for collaborating with colleagues in a Christ-centered environment. Experience in a Christian school setting is preferred. As a member of the Ontario Christian faculty, this individual is expected to demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, and a commitment to service. Assignment Details

• This position is needed from August 2026 - December 2026.
• This is a full-time temporary position.

Experience

• 0-5+ years of classroom teaching experience, teaching in an applicable grade or subject.
• Prior experience working in a Christian school environment.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a teaching related field.
• Current teaching credential or working towards a credential in the appropriate subject area.
• Related education in the Christian faith.
• Completion of student teaching.
• Knowledge and implementation of relevant technology.
• Deep understanding and knowledge of Biblical principles.
• Best practice teaching methods.
