We are seeking a Finance Operations and Program Lead . The leader in this role will be the engine behind our most critical financial and operational initiatives. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance Operations, you will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and granular execution, ensuring that our Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) processes, system implementations, and cross-functional rollouts are executed with precision. You will serve as a strategic bridge between Finance Operations and the broader organization (Sales, Services, Pricing & Packaging), frequently acting as the primary delegate for Finance leadership in cross-functional program steering. This role requires a unique blend of CRM and ERP systems knowledge, process design, and executive communication.
What You'll Need:- In this hybrid role, you will lead internal projects, partner with IT as the subject matter expert and lead tester, drive operational efficiencies, and operate as an extension of the VP of Finance Operations.
- You will be part process architect, designing the work-back plans for Finance initiatives; part investigator, digging into data and requirements; and part diplomat, alignment-building across Finance, Business Applications, and cross-functional partners.
- You will collaborate closely with Business Analysts and Program Directors from IT on development projects, while directly managing and executing internal (non-IT related) projects for the Finance team.
- The breadth of responsibility spans the entire lifecycle from initial quotes in Salesforce CPQ through to cash collections and commissions payment.
- The ideal candidate will have experience working in all aspects of this lifecycle, proven problem solving expertise, developing business process improvements, leading finance operations, and delivering QBRs, OKRs and other operational metrics to ELT level executives.
- Responsible for developing and measuring KPI’s, OKRs, and writing business requirements with measurable results.
- Maintain and develop metrics to be leveraged across finance operations that ensure our collective success. Provide insights to help develop the “right” metrics for continued improvement.
- Manage the roll-up of Finance Operations OKRs and support the CFO’s reporting on company-wide initiatives.
- Prepare and present program status updates and operational reporting for Finance leadership and the CFO.
- Facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), highlighting achievements and demonstrating a mindset of continuous improvement by uncovering areas of opportunity to further improve the team or the team metrics.
- Provide weekly status reports for open projects and initiatives to the VP and staff.
- Build and maintain comprehensive project plans, status dashboards, and data-driven reports to keep the VP of Finance Operations and other stakeholders informed.
- Act as the primary intake point, subject matter expert, main point of contact, and delegate for Finance leadership for initiatives originating from outside Finance that require operational support.
- Prioritize the workload to ensure the most critical operational and project initiatives and activities are completed on time. You will ensure Finance interests are represented and that downstream impacts are fully understood by all teams.
- Collaborate with peers to identify and lead, and manage internal programs aimed at streamlining workflows within the Finance Operations teams (Deal Desk, Finance Operations & Order Management, Collections, and Commissions).
- Partner with Finance leaders to extract, refine, and document business requirements and processes. You are responsible for ensuring edge cases are considered and documented before they reach technical teams.
- Work as the functional lead alongside Business Applications Business Analysts (BAs). You will provide the what and why (business logic and requirements), allowing the BA to execute the technical how.
- Maintain a hands-on understanding of Salesforce CPQ and NetSuite configuration to assess the feasibility and ripple effects of proposed changes on pricing, contract output, NetSuite billing, and key data points.
- 7+ years in Financial Program Management and/or Operations, preferably within a SaaS environment.
- Deep familiarity with Salesforce (CRM) and Salesforce CPQ is mandatory. Working knowledge of NetSuite (or similar ERP) and the technical hand-off between CRM and

- Experience testing in Netsuite and Salesforce, working with QA teams to update requirements or resolve bugs based on outcomes, and retesting.
- Serve as the finance business leader who is responsible for quality of business testing and provides “Go Live” approval for IT projects.
- Represent Finance leadership in meetings with senior-level stakeholders. The ability to manage conflict and communicate confidently is essential, including effectively presenting both positive and challenging messages to leadership. This person will be expected to clearly present the situation, outline viable options, and make decisive recommendations to gain alignment and ensure deadlines are met.
