ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Qualified applicants will ideally possess a minimum of 1 year of residential service electrical work experience
• Working knowledge of the care and use of standard hand tools used in the construction and maintenance of electrical installations
• Assist the electrician onsite operations
• Cut and assemble conduit fittings
• Assist in running wires and cleanup after job completion
• Adhere to all safety policies and protocol
• Applicant should have previous electrical experience and be able to work in outdoor weather conditions
• Ability to follow directions well, and demonstrate a sound work ethic
• Honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness in dealing with customers
• Ability to perform strenuous work in varying weather conditions for prolonged periods of time and work while in kneeling, sitting, or prone positions depending upon assignment
• Ability to understand and follow specific oral and written instructions, work with others, and deal with customers in a courteous manner
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as electrical helper or in a similar role
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments
• Understanding of safety procedures and regulations
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
