The School of Nursing offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs across two campuses, including Health Care Assistant, Practical Nursing (Williams Lake only), Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Nursing, and Master of Nurse Practitioner programs.
The Health Care Assistant program requires a tenure-track bipartite position beginning July 1st, 2026. Successful candidates with a bipartite appointment will teach theory and practice courses and engage in service to the school, university, profession, and community.
- PhD or other doctorate; consideration may be given to doctoral candidates who will complete their degree by the appointment date or shortly thereafter.
- A master’s degree with current practice and teaching experience may be considered.
- Holds a minimum of one (1) degree in nursing;
- Five (5) years full-time or equivalent hours of nursing experience;
- Evidence of continuous learning in your area of nursing;
- Experience teaching theory and clinical practice;
- An understanding of, and experience in, the Canadian healthcare system;
- Current BCCNM registration in good standing without limits or conditions, or eligibility for registration with BCCNM prior to appointment; and official transcripts along with references
- Preference given to candidates with experience in Long Term Care
