Are you detail-oriented, dependable and organized? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment, understand the importance of clean claims, and enjoy solving billing challenges that help keep patient care moving smoothly? If so, you may be the perfect fit for our Billing Representative position.

As a Billing Rep You will be responsible for preparing, submitting, and following up on claims for DME services. This role ensures accurate billing, resolves claim denials, communicates with payers, and supports patients with billing-related questions.

What You’ll Do

· Submit claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans.

· Verify insurance benefits, coverage, authorizations, and required documentation for DME items.

· Review, correct, and resubmit denied or rejected claims.

· Post payments, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate billing records.

· Communicate with patients, payers, and referral sources to address billing questions or resolve discrepancies.

· Ensure compliance with payer guidelines, DME regulations, and internal company policies.

· Collaborate with customer service and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate billing.

· Other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent (Required)

· Prior work experience in a medical setting. Understanding of insurance authorization and reimbursement.

· Customer Service experience.

· Knowledge of HCPCS codes, modifiers, and documentation standards, preferred.

· Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid and commercial insurance billing practices.

· Strong data-entry and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency.
