Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Grill Cook to lead fast-paced grill execution in a high-volume, upscale kitchen. This role sets the standard for speed, consistency, and precise timingensuring every plate leaves the pass cooked perfectly and on time.
What Youll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)
- Lead grill execution during service with urgency and control
- Ensure consistent cook times, temperatures, and presentation
- Manage timing across tickets to deliver plates simultaneously
- Maintain clean, organized, and efficient grill station setup
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen team during service
- Uphold quality, safety, and sanitation standards at all times

Your success with us requires these qualifications:
- 3+ years grill experience in high-volume or upscale kitchens
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Familiar with industrys best practices
- Strong attention to detail and plate consistency
- Calm, focused leadership during peak service
- Culinary school diploma

Physical Requirements

- Manual Dexterity: Skill in handling a variety of tasks, such as cleaning, carrying items, or assisting guests with luggage.
- Mobility: Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, and reach in order to perform various tasks throughout the facility.
- Good Hand-Eye Coordination: Necessary for tasks like chopping, slicing, plating, and working with hot or sharp kitchen tools safely.
- Tolerating Heat: Comfort working in a hot environment, around stoves, ovens, grills, and fryers for extended periods.
- Speed and Efficiency: While not purely physical, the ability to work quickly and stay focused during high-volume service is critical to the role.
- Visual and Hearing Acuity: Ability to monitor food quality, kitchen safety, and communicate with fellow kitchen staff effectively.
