Job Overview

The Accounts Receivable Specialist III is responsible for managing and executing a broad range of accounts receivable functions, including adjustment posting, account reconciliation, and ensuring the timely deposit of payments. This role requires accurate documentation of all payment backups and efficient retrieval and processing of electronic remittance advice files. The Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team by conducting research, resolving payment discrepancies, and assisting with daily operational tasks to optimize cash flow and maintain precise financial records. A strong understanding of Explanation of Benefits and insurance refund processing is essential. Additionally, this position provides support to other departments as needed, requiring attention to detail and effective collaboration across teams to ensure organizational success.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.

  • Trade or Technical School certification preferred.

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in billing and collections is required.

  • A healthcare background is strongly preferred with an emphasis on Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Compensation

$26.51 - $33.14 hourly

The range is subject to change.
