Responsibilities
Role Profile
Based in our first Milan accommodations, the Receptionist is a key role for the success of our residences. You’ll be part brand new aparto Student Housing team. Just as important: you are responsible for every aspect of the aparto guest stay during your shift.
You operate mainly in the reception area where you are open and available with a friendly smile to meet all the needs of students and the questions of new potential guests. This goes way beyond old school reception duties: you and your team members are the aparto’s super-skilled hosts and responsible for the entire aparto guest experience.
General reception and administration duties (check-in check-out of the students and guests, helping invoicing process supporting Finance team, follow housekeeping activities, collect and manage guests data) working on shifts covering 24/h front desk service
Parcels and post managements (delivery and pick-up)
Follow-up quality scores on the main OTAs and receive handle the first complaints reports
Support students and Universities to handle administrative requests linked to the on-boarding process of the students (Medical Health Care subscription, mandatory documentations such as Fiscal Code and ASL subscription, etc.)
Helping students to maintain the wellbeing of the community
Make sure Health & Safety requirements are meet on site
Answering incoming calls and following-up potential sales
Undertaking viewings and site inspections of the show flat
Assisting in writing reports and analysis data (occupancy, leads, …)
- Liaising with head office to confirm number of viewings and bookings
- Forwarding application forms to interested students
- Providing potential students with useful information on the local area
- Daily support for the update of the site Social Medias (Face book- Twitter- Instagram)
- Able to create, organize and manage events on site during the academic year and responsible for the entire aparto guest experience

- Trustworthy and reliable
- Able to work in shift
- Knowledgeable of issues affecting students
- Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team
- Self-motivated with good communication skills
- Customer-focused and computer literate
- Knowledgeable of issues affecting students and able to communicate with young guests
- Good sales skills
- Sensitive to and understand students ‘needs
- Able to organise and meet deadlines and targets
- Good knowledge in using social medias
- Outgoing with a good sense of humour and the ability to apply common sense
- Previous hospitality / student housing experience in Italy
