PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean assigned areas, both inside and outside, of facility - including: mopping, sweeping, dusting, polishing, scouring, taking out trash, and any other cleaning related functions as assigned
• Clean, organize, and put away dishes, utensils, and equipment, as required, in a timely manner
• Properly dispose of items - food, trash - as required
• Report any problems, inconsistencies, damage, and breakdowns
• Keep track of porter supply inventories as needed, report items when low
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, FDA, HACCP, and all other regulations

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Must be able to carry out instructions, and deal with standard situations
• Prior cleaning experience is helpful
• Knowledge of how to use chemicals properly, including application to surfaces and areas is helpful
• An ability to read, write, and communicate in English is helpful

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE

• Lifting requirements: 60+ pounds occasionally, 20+ pounds frequently, 10+ pounds consistently
• Bend, stoop repeatedly
• Stand for 8-12 hours a day
• Be able to work effectively & efficiently under pressure
• Follow safe safe working practices & company guidelines
• Be able to work around/with chemicals/strong smells
• Be team orientated
• Have a flexible working schedule (work both morning or evening shifts)
• Have good work habits, pay attention to details & surroundings, and have good work ethics
• Work in extreme temperatures, including below 41F, as required
