Key Responsibilities

• Install and service rolling steel, sectional, high-speed, high-lift, and vertical-lift commercial doors.
• Install and maintain dock levelers, gate operators, door openers, and related safety systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components efficiently and effectively.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance for optimal system performance.
• Operate lifts, rigging tools, and power tools in compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
• Read and follow blueprints, job layouts, and installation instructions with precision.
• Work solo or with a small crew, depending on the job scope.
• Communicate clearly with customers, explaining repairs and maintenance needs.
• Navigate varied environments, including cold storage, outdoor elements, and elevated work sites.
• Maintain clean, organized job sites and company vehicles.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule for emergency service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in commercial doors, construction, mechanical, or electrical trades preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or in small teams.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus.

Schedule

• Full-Time, Monday - Friday
• Occasional overtime or on-call rotation for emergency service.
