Job Description
Catalyst Fitness is a premier health and wellness facility committed to providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our members. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. If you take pride in keeping spaces functional and safe—and you know your way around plumbing, hvac, and mechanical systems —we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems (e.g., showers, sinks, toilets, locker rooms, water fountains, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues quickly and efficiently
• Preventative maintenance required for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and lighting systems (basic knowledge required)
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify safety hazards or maintenance needs
• Perform general repairs, including patching walls, painting, replacing fixtures, and maintaining flooring
• Apprentice to learn fitness equipment repairs and preventative maintenance
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are stored and used safely
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Coordinate with outside contractors when necessary
• Help uphold cleanliness and safety standards throughout the facility

Qualifications:
• 2+ years of maintenance experience, with a strong focus on plumbing
• Working knowledge of basic electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Physically able to lift heavy objects over 50lbs, climb ladders, bend, lift, twist, perform task from knees, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Drivers license and clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus

• Previous experience working in a gym, fitness center, or similar environment
• Familiarity with sauna systems
