Position Overview

We require a part-time, permanent Laundry Route Driver that will be assisting with linen and towel deliveries to all Basecamp properties in Canmore and Banff.

Salary: $19.50 per hour

Shifts: Part-Time, Permanent, week days and weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with driving the clean linens to the various hotels and pick up the linens needing washing.
• Supply Houseperson/Housekeeper with linens from main laundry for delivery to housekeeping storage rooms.
• Responsible for all linen and towel inventories.
• Work closely with Housekeeping Supervisors and Housekeeping Manager to ensure inventory for each property is properly stocked.
• Maintaining cleanliness of laundry.
• Maintain clean floors in the laundry room.
• Maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicle.
• Package linens in transport bins in such a way as to expedite the stocking of items upon delivery.
• Ensure proper operations of equipment.
• Report any mechanical issues to the Manager.

Requirements

• Must have a Canadian Driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
• Must have 3 years of driving experience in Canada.
• Must be available on weekends.
• Must have the mobility to climb stairs throughout the day and be able to lift 40lb.
• Experience in laundry duties and asset.
• Demonstrate organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Able to work well independently and with a team with little supervision.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
