About Us
Gestion Zagora is a young and dynamic company specializing in property management. In operation for over 5 years, we currently own and manage multiple rental properties located primarily in Montreal, the South Shore of Montreal, Gatineau, and Quebec City. As we continue to grow, we are expanding our team to reach new heights.
We are currently seeking a full-time Residential Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. You will play a key role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our tenants and the upkeep of our properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend the life of equipment, such as HVAC systems and appliances.
- Repairs: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Emergency Response: Respond quickly and effectively to urgent maintenance requests to minimize inconvenience to tenants.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed logs of work performed, maintenance reports, and inventory of replacement parts.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe living environment for residents.
- Improvement Initiatives: Identify and implement maintenance improvements to optimize operations and enhance tenant satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with property managers, contractors, and other team members to coordinate tasks efficiently.
What We’re Looking For:
- Technical Skills: Drywall installation, plastering, and painting required. Experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or HVAC is a strong asset.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Professionalism: Reliable, organized, and responsible.
- Time Management: Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Autonomy: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Team Player: Positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
