Crew Leader (Assistant Manager Pathway) at Subway Arundel – Arundel, Queensland

We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Crew Leader to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who cares about doing things properly, takes pride in their work, and brings a positive, practical approach to each shift.

We’re a high performing store with strong systems and clear expectations. As a franchisee training store, standards matter every day, and this role plays a big part in setting the tone on shift.

Hours & Availability

• 30+ hours per week (typically 4–5 shifts)

• Must have own transport

• Mix of shifts, including early starts from 5:15am and late finishes up to 10:30pm

• Initial training period of 2–4 weeks at up to 5 days per week

Experience

• Fast-paced hospitality or quick service experience preferred

• Previous Crew Leader experience not essential

• Open to experienced team members ready to step into more responsibility

The role

• Work hands-on alongside the team during shifts

• Help keep store standards, food safety, and procedures consistent

• Support training, coaching, and follow-up with team members

• Keep a close eye on customer experience and service quality

• Communicate clearly with the Franchisee and Manager

• Help problem solve on shift and suggest practical improvements
