Smadex is a cutting-edge ad-tech company: we process more than 4,5 million ad requests per second, replying under 100ms. Every day we generate several TBs of data that need to be processed, analyzed and aggregated, so our real-time components get smarter every day. We need you to help us keep our platform in motion!

What are we looking for?

A Junior Devops Engineer willing to learn and gain experience working hand to hand with our top-notch tech team. You’ll play a pivotal role in Smadex’s evolution by ensuring our global platform remains resilient and high-performing as we scale our multi-region operations.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong interest in DevOps or related field
• Familiarity with deployment automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, or Chef
• Familiarity with cloud-based environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Basic understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure architecture
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Bonus points:

• Basic Linux skills. Be comfortable working with a terminal. You will learn everything else!

What will you do?

• Gain hands-on experience with various tools and programming languages in the field of software development.
• Help building a cloud-based platform using modern technologies, collaborating and learning from other highly-skilled peers.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical and architectural decisions, collaborate in a fast-paced environment where every opinion counts!
