About This Position
About the Role:
The Inside Sales position is pivotal in driving revenue growth by engaging with prospective and existing customers primarily through phone, email, and in person. This role focuses on understanding customer needs, presenting tailored product solutions, and managing the sales process from initial contact through to closing. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with contractors, homeowners and sales teams to ensure alignment and maximize sales opportunities. Additionally, they will maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities Ultimately, this role aims to build strong customer relationships that foster loyalty and repeat business while contributing to the overall success of the sales organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; related sales experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Proficiency in using Sales software, Microsoft, Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling Hardware, Lumber, Building Materials.
- Ability to analyze sales metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Experience working in a Sales environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound and inbound sales calls to identify and qualify potential customers.
- Manage the sales pipeline effectively, ensuring timely follow-up and progression of leads.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, customer service, and field sales to optimize customer experience and sales outcomes.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms within established guidelines to close sales deals.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and contribute to team sales goals.
Skills:
Excellent customer service skills, compassion, ability to work with a team. Closely align with Management to improve sales processes.
