About This Position
Kenny Ross Ford of Castle Shannon, PA has an immediate need for a Mobile Service Technician. As a Mobile Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch
service directly to our customers, ensuring their vehicles are safe and reliable.
REQUIRED:
- At least 2-years automotive repair experience
- Trade school experience a plus
- Understanding of technology & basic software programs
- Knowledge and ability to use computers, mobile devices, and related technology
- efficiently is a plus
- Self-motivated, positive attitude, with a customer focused vision
- Ability to develop relationships and foster a high level customer experience
Responsibilities:
- Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty
- Engage with many different customers each day and represent the dealership
- Organize and prepare for the day’s appointments
- Perform vehicle repairs and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order in a clean and efficient manner
- Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and customer communication
- Accurately document vehicle repairs/work performed on the repair order
- Stay informed of Ford technical bulletins and complete required training
- Able to work occasionally in challenging weather conditions
- Able to drive and maintain a company vehicle responsibly
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, including:
- Oil and filter changes.
- Tire rotations and air filter replacements.
- Lubrication and other minor services.
- Complete Factory Recalls scheduled by the service department.
- Meet customers at their homes, workplaces, or fleet locations, providing a convenient and professional service experience.
- Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections to ensure safety and identify potential service needs.
- Document all work performed and recommended on repair orders.
- Collaborate with the Mobile Service Manager to prepare for upcoming appointments and maintain inventory on the service van.
- Maintain a mobile van service log to ensure the equipment is always in top condition.
- Stay current by participating in manufacturer training programs and events.
Qualifications:
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Valid driver license
- Ford certifications are desirable but not mandatory
- Service Technician experience preferred
- Strong use of technological devices including tablets
