Job Description

Finance Integrations Engineer

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Finance Integrations Engineer in Ireland.

This role sits at the critical intersection of backend engineering and financial systems, responsible for ensuring accurate, reliable, and automated data flows between a fast-scaling global marketplace and its core financial infrastructure. You will take ownership of a key NetSuite integration that supports the company’s financial operations, rebuilding and stabilizing systems that are essential to business performance. Working closely with finance stakeholders and engineering teams, you will translate complex accounting and operational requirements into robust technical solutions. This is a highly impactful position where precision, ownership, and reliability are essential, as your work directly affects financial data integrity across the organization. You will operate in a fast-paced, remote-first engineering culture that values autonomy, end-to-end ownership, and practical problem-solving. Beyond fixing and rebuilding integrations, you will also help define standards for monitoring, automation, and scalability of financial data systems. The environment is collaborative, high-growth, and deeply focused on building systems that power real-world business operations at scale.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and rebuild the end-to-end integration between core platform systems and NetSuite, ensuring reliability and scalability.
  • Diagnose and resolve existing integration issues affecting financial data accuracy and system performance.
  • Design and implement automated data pipelines that eliminate manual financial processes and ensure seamless data flow.
  • Collaborate closely with finance and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Build monitoring, alerting, and testing frameworks to proactively detect and prevent integration failures.
  • Work within a modern backend stack (Node.js, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD) to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Define and maintain the integration roadmap in collaboration with engineering and product teams.
  • Contribute to engineering best practices, including code reviews, documentation, and system improvements.
Requirements:
  • Strong backend engineering experience with a solid foundation in object-oriented programming, preferably Node.js.
  • Hands-on experience integrating with NetSuite, including working with APIs and understanding data flows.
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial systems, with awareness of data accuracy requirements.
  • Experience building and maintaining integrations in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proven ability to own systems end-to-end, including monitoring, debugging, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Based in Europe (preferably Spain, UK, Portugal, Netherlands, or Stockholm).
  • Nice to have: experience with SuiteScript, fintech or marketplace environments, or ERP integration tools.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote work with flexible working hours.
  • Unlimited holiday allowance to support work-life balance.
  • Private health insurance coverage.
  • Flexible compensation benefits (meals, transport, childcare).
  • Strong opportunities for learning, growth, and career development.
  • Dynamic, high-growth environment with significant ownership from day one.
  • Inclusive and diverse remote-first culture.
  • Opportunity to work on mission-critical financial systems in a global marketplace.
