What you'll do

1. Interpret and execute electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, control schematics, and BAS documentation.
2. Install, modify, and maintain electrical and control systems supporting building automation (HVAC controls, lighting controls, energy management systems).
3. Plan and perform high- and low-voltage installations, including control wiring, panels, sensors, actuators, and networked devices.
4. Bend, cut, and install conduit using hand, mechanical, or hydraulic benders in accordance with project specifications.
5. Pull and terminate wiring for control panels, motors, VFDs, lighting systems, and BAS controllers.
6. Integrate and support BAS components including controllers, field devices, and communication networks.
7. Perform system startup, functional testing, commissioning support, and troubleshooting of electrical and control systems.
8. Use and maintain tools such as threaders, wire tuggers, knockout punches, drills, and testing equipment safely and effectively.
9. Collaborate with project managers, controls technicians, and other trades to ensure seamless system integration.
10. Maintain accountability for tools, materials, and ensure clean, organized, and safe job sites.

What we're looking for

1. High School Diploma or Trade School Certification in Electrical Technology (or related field)
2. Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes
3. Ability to read and interpret schematics and BAS drawings
4. Proficiency with electrical tools, including conduit benders and drills
5. Strong communication and teamwork skills
6. Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
7. Ability to pass background check and drug screening
8. Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights, and in confined spaces

Good-to-Haves

1. Experience with high-voltage and low-voltage/control systems
2. Journeyman Electrician License
3. 5+ years of relevant electrical experience
4. Experience with building automation systems (BAS)
5. Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
6. Willingness to travel occasionally (overnight stays possible)
7. Availability for occasional night training or classes
