Pierson Concrete Construction Co. is seeking a driven, hands-on leader to serve as a Concrete Project Manager / Superintendent, overseeing projects from pre-construction through completion while actively leading field operations.
This is a dual-role leadership position responsible for both project oversight and on-site execution. The ideal candidate is someone who can plan, coordinate, and step into the field when needed to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
Project Management
Plan and manage concrete projects from pre-construction through closeout
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines
Review blueprints, specifications, and site logistics for efficient execution
Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
Track progress and provide regular project updates
Lead and supervise field crews to ensure productivity, quality, and accountability
Serve as the on-site point of contact for all construction activities
Monitor daily job site progress and resolve issues proactively
Ensure all work aligns with plans, specifications, and company standards
Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized job site
Step in hands-on when necessary to keep projects moving
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
Mentor and develop crew members
Support estimating, takeoffs, and bidding processes as needed
Build and maintain strong client and partner relationships
5+ years of experience in concrete construction
Experience in project management and field leadership (superintendent or foreman level)
Strong knowledge of concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and sitework
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and construction software (estimating/takeoff tools preferred)
High school diploma or GED required; additional certifications are a plus
