About This Position
Our client is a premier engineering solutions provider specializing in custom mechanization for complex structures and attractions. They collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, reliable systems across industries including aerospace, entertainment, and large-scale infrastructure projects.
Position Responsibilities:
This role serves as the central hub for all internal IT operations, ensuring seamless technology performance while bridging end-users, infrastructure, and external service providers to maintain operational efficiency and security.
- Provide frontline technical support for hardware, software, and peripheral devices
- Manage and resolve helpdesk tickets with a focus on timely, high-quality service delivery
- Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding including system access and equipment setup
- Administer user accounts and permissions across core platforms including Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
- Monitor network performance, servers, and cloud-based systems to ensure reliability
- Coordinate with external service providers for escalations, upgrades, and strategic initiatives
- Support implementation of IT projects such as system upgrades and cloud migrations
- Maintain cybersecurity protocols including patching, antivirus, and endpoint protection
- Assist in disaster recovery planning and business continuity efforts
- Track and manage IT assets and software licensing lifecycle
Position requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, and standard office tools
- Experience with Active Directory, networking fundamentals, and backup solutions
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
- Proven ability to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Must qualify as a U.S. person under applicable export control regulations
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience working with a Managed Services Provider
- Familiarity with engineering or manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
- Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, or ITIL

The pay range for this role is:
70,000 - 120,000 USD per year(Minneapolis, MN)
