Capitol Toyota is hiring for a full-time Parts Shipping/Receiving Clerk.

Capitol Toyota is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring accurate handling, processing, and movement of products within our facility. Attention to detail is paramount to maintain inventory accuracy and meet shipping standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders or packing slips
• Sort, bag, and package products according to company procedures
• Accurately record and note product weights as required
• Ensure all items are properly labeled and documented before storage or shipment
• Prepare and organize pallets for outgoing shipments
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety guidelines and operational procedures

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of lifting and moving items up to 80 lbs regularly
• Basic organizational and time management skills
• Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience preferred, but not required
• Have a high level of motivation for customer satisfaction, quality workmanship, team building – all with a customer focused attitude
• Automotive parts background preferred
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Proven ability to multi-task
• Valid driver’s license
