Job Functions:
• Apply basic engineering principles to support the review of flutter and dynamics analyses, along with ground and flight test data, to assist in airworthiness evaluations of aircraft under guidance from senior engineers.
• Assist in identifying and resolving engineering problems by gathering and analyzing data from structural tests, flutter analyses, and simulation outputs; contribute to developing practical solutions in a team environment.
• Support Program Manager activities by helping track compliance with aircraft requirements, including technical reporting, test data documentation, and quality control efforts, with oversight from senior personnel.
• Contribute to early-stage (TRL 0–5) projects involving materials, manufacturing processes, and aircraft structural/dynamics considerations; support transition of work to cross-functional teams such as Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations, with routine review and feedback.
• Provide support during structural ground testing and assist in documenting results, ensuring accurate data collection and alignment with test objectives and engineering requirements.
• Assist with the use and development of flutter and dynamics modeling and simulation tools, including data input, basic analysis, and comparison to ground and flight test results.
• Participate as a team member in projects, occasionally supporting coordination efforts with engineers, scientists, or technicians, while continuing to build technical competency.
• Contribute input to engineering studies and evaluations that support longer-term development of materials, manufacturing processes, and aircraft structural/dynamics performance improvements.
• Prepare basic engineering design and analysis documentation for review by senior engineers, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to established standards.
