Position Overview
Under the supervision of the Field Service Manager, the Assistant will support the Canadian Wildlife Federation’s asset-based community development (ABCD) initiative through the Canadian Centre for Nature-based Education. This work will contribute to building a national picture of Canada’s nature-based education landscape and identifying strengths, gaps, and opportunities across communities.
Duties and Responsibilities
This role will provide hands-on experience in community engagement, research, and applied ABCD methods while contributing to CWF’s goal of strengthening the national ecosystem of nature-based education

Eligibility
This position is funded by Canada Summer Jobs, a youth employment program of the Government of Canada. All candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements. Candidates who do not meet all requirements will not be considered:
- Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period. Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of employment; and;Must have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial and territorial legislation and regulations.
