Job Title: Airport Valet Attendant Supervisor
Employment Type: Full time/ Sunday - Thursday 10pm-6:30am
Location: Edmonton International Airport
Compensation: $28 per hour

The Spirit of the Role
Airport travel can be fast-paced and stressful. As an Airport Valet Supervisor, your presence, communication, and efficiency help set the tone for a positive travel experience. You are often the first and last point of contact for passengers, making your professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver an elevated, guest-first experience to airport passengers and visitors
- Leads, motivates and coaches the valets in order to maximize productivity and satisfaction
- Follows all LAZ Parking practices and ensures all procedures are followed to maintain desired outcomes.
- Actively participates, coaches and leads associates in guest problem resolution processes to ensure that guest service opportunities are resolved quickly and addressed effectively
- Conducts regular walk throughs of the lots. Notes any deficiencies and follows up as required
- Listens and responds to guests requests or concerns and taking action until completion
- Provide warm, professional greetings and farewells that ease travel stress
- Assist passengers with luggage and mobility needs as required
- Clearly communicate valet services, rates, and retrieval procedures
- Adhere to airport safety standards, traffic laws, and driving best practices
- Respond calmly and professionally to time-sensitive passenger needs
- Maintain a polished appearance that reflects airport hospitality standards
- Report safety concerns, incidents, or unusual activity promptly
Passenger Experience Focus
Anticipate passenger needs and offer assistance proactively
Communicate clearly, confidently, and compassionately in time-sensitive situations
Help travelers feel welcome, cared for, and confident leaving their vehicle
Represent both LAZ Parking and the airport with professionalism pride
Contribute to a calm, organized curbside environment even during peak travel periods
Qualifications & Requirements
Valid Class 5 Drivers License (minimum 2 years driving experience)
Clean driving record; ability to drive a manual transmission an asset
Legally authorized to work in Canada
Open availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Previous customer service or hospitality experience required
Airport, valet, bell service, or luxury hospitality experience preferred
Strong verbal communication skills and a calm, professional demeanor
Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic airport environment
Physical Requirements
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 22.5 kg (50 lbs)
Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods during shifts
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift repeatedly throughout the day
