About the role

• The Bulk Specialist manages all bulk fulfillment operations, ensuring that client-specific orders are assigned, picked, packed, scanned, and sorted accurately and on pace. This role directly supports the Fulfillment Manager by owning the assignment logic for bulk shipments, coaching associates, auditing for accuracy, and maintaining SLA compliance. The Bulk Lead is a floor-level leader focused on throughput, accountability, and quality.

What you'll do

Bulk Fulfillment Management

• Print and prioritize bulk orders daily by SLA cutoff and client requirements.
• Assign orders to fulfillment associates and monitor real-time progress.
• Ensure all bulk orders are picked, packed, scanned, and sorted into outbound containers correctly.
• Perform quality checks on scan compliance and carton accuracy before container closeout.

• Coach associates on pace, quality standards, and bulk-specific protocols.
• Issue verbal feedback and recommend written warnings to the Fulfillment Manager when necessary.
• Communicate client-specific instructions clearly to the floor team.
• Reinforce company policies, safety practices, and attendance standards.

• Collaborate with the Shift Lead and Fulfillment Manager to align bulk staffing with daily volume needs.
• Own the assignment logic for distributing bulk workload among associates.
• Support replenishment of bulk stations and ensure operational flow is maintained.

• Maintain a Daily Bulk Tracking Log, noting completion status, errors, and exceptions.
• Report volume blockers or trends impacting SLA performance to the Fulfillment Manager.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting systems.
