Transportation Safety Supervisor at Crouse Hospital – Syracuse, New York

The Supervisor leads, supervises and monitors the daily performance activities of the Transportation Safety Officers. Will also safely transport passengers to and from designated locations, following predetermined routes and schedules while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate shuttle vehicles following all traffic laws and hospital policies
• Transport and assist passengers as needed
• Conduct vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of vehicles
• Communicate with dispatch/security for transport requests
• Provide professional, friendly customer service
• Complete required logs and follow all safety and confidentiality policies

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid New York State CDL driver’s license with clean record
• Two years of Transportation Safety experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
