Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of a full-time International Banking Associate at our El Paso, TX location.
This full-time position works 40 hours per week.
Summary:
The International Banking Associate supports International Banking Specialists by assisting with client service activities and system entry. The role included direct client interaction, identifying opportunities to introduce additional products and services, and collaborating with other Sunflower divisions to meet client banking needs. International Banking Associates regularly refers clients to appropriate Sunflower partners.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with the International Banking Specialists and other specialists across multiple assigned regions to ensure the optimal client experience.
- Provide best in class “relationship” based client experience.
- Consistent communication with assigned International Banking Specialists providing updates as to workload and client interactions including client problems and/or opportunities to grow relationships.
- Outstanding knowledge of and compliant operation related to Sunflower policy.
- Act as a primary point of contact for the administrative needs of our International clients.
- Identify opportunities and cross-sell basic banking products and services to assigned clients.
- Deliver high-level service while maintaining bank integrity, and abiding by both bank and industry regulations.
- Ability to Multi-task maintaining accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Perform the job in accordance with applicable industry laws and regulations as well as the policies and procedures established by the company.
- Responsible for upholding Fair and Responsible Banking practices and Code of Ethics and Conduct guidelines.
- Understand and participate in the Bank’s Community Reinvestment Act program.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education / Experience:
- Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 to 5 years’ successful banking/client service experience in retail, commercial, business, private banking, and/or client services industry.
- Must possess experience operating in an environment that stresses both individual accountability and team-based performance.
- Demonstrate ability to operate with strict adherence to policy and procedural guidelines.
- Ability to complete tasks on time while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to collaborate with other internal partners to enhance the client experience.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
- Adapt quickly in dealing with an ever-changing banking environment.
- Must be bondable.
Pay is dependent on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and location.
Working Conditions:
The physical demands of this position require the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Employees may spend extended periods sitting or standing, using hands to operate computers or other equipment, and reaching for work-related tasks. Regular walking may be required, along with occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, or climbing. The role may involve lifting or moving items weighing up to 10 pounds. Vision requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
