Job Description
Requires an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution and acceptance into a graduate studies program at Franklin Pierce University (acceptance must be confirmed before the candidate is considered).
Job Summary:
Support the Ravens Sports Network (RSN) by:
- Working as production/technology support staff and/or on-air talent, calling games.
- Supervising livestreams on FloCollege;
- Producing Runs of Shows;
- Archiving livestreams on Vimeo; and
- Training RSN undergraduates;
- Working other University events, in the studio or in the field, as required;
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
Training will be provided, but this position requires:
- Professionalism;
- An aptitude for technology and sports in general;
- The ability to work, troubleshoot and lead under pressure;
- Management of student workers;
- And excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Candidate must be accepted to Franklin Pierce graduate school before GA application will be considered.
through Fall, Winter and Spring Breaks (as do other regular staff). If Athletic or other coverage is
required during a staff break, the GA will be given a different day off per the Employee Handbook.
Be aware that the schedule can change quickly due to weather or new opportunities. This GA needs to
be flexible and resilent.
