- Support communication and coordination between clients, claim examiners, insurance carriers, captive managers, and internal teams to ensure smooth claims operations.
- Maintain and manage claim files, including documentation, reporting requirements, and compliance-related processes such as loss runs, credentialing, NPDB, and MMSEA reporting.
- Review and adjust defense counsel invoices to ensure adherence to litigation guidelines and billing standards.
- Provide day-to-day operational support to claims examiners by sharing updates, tracking claim activity, and assisting with file progression and resolution.
- Respond promptly to inquiries while guiding stakeholders on claims reporting procedures and best practices.
- Help maintain workflow efficiency during high-volume periods through strong prioritization, flexibility, and attention to detail.
- Collaborate across teams to support service quality, operational consistency, and positive client outcomes.
- 2–3 years of experience supporting claims administration, insurance operations, or related functions.
- Familiarity with professional liability and healthcare professional liability claims processes and file management.
- Experience with credentialing, loss runs, NPDB reporting, and MMSEA compliance requirements.
- Ability to review legal billing and defense counsel invoices according to litigation management guidelines.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing workloads and operational demands.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field is considered an asset but not required.
- Competitive salary range of approximately $48,400 – $90,000, with potential performance-based incentives
