Job SummaryThe Office of Undergraduate Research seeks a Student Marketing and Communications Assistant for the 2024-2025 academic year. Duties of this position include, but not limited to:

1. Assist with communication efforts through campus outreach, graphic design, social media scheduling, website updates, and digital marketing strategies.

2. Curate content – develop written and visual communications for print, web and social media.

3. Interview students, faculty and alumni.

4. Create informational videos and photography.

5. Assist with event management and execution including event marketing, setup, check-in of attendees, facilitation, cleanup and other duties as assigned.

6. Assist with general office support and customer service.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities1. Possess excellent customer service skills as well as a professional and willing attitude.

2. Must be reliable and be able to professionally interact with stakeholders including students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

3. Organized, creative, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.

4. MS Office and Google Drive experience.

5. Video editing and photography experience.

6. Experience with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok.

7. Experience with Canva.
