Reports To:
- Director, Patient Accounts

Summary:
- Process patient accounts thru assigned payers-per payer requirements- until they become patient's responsibility. Utilize computer software systems necessary to process all claims, electronic and paper. Participates and assimilates all education/ compliance materials and opportunities for the goal of continuous improvement and compliance.

Education
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience
- Six months to one year related experience

Computer Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, email and basic computer skills for other software used throughout the hospital for your area of responsibility.

- N/A

Other Requirements
- Ability to deal with upset patients and uncooperative people. Knowledge of laws, regulations and requirements for various carriers. This position requires constant sitting and frequent use of hands and fingers.
