We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team at Shewmake Plastic Surgery located in Little Rock, AR with a passion for collaboration and helping patients achieve their goals. Must have a love for the aesthetic industry, a willingness to learn and train, and an eagerness to build and grow with us!
Responsibilities:
- Billing surgeries
- Billing pre-op appointments
- End of day financial reports & spreadsheet
- Stocking exam rooms
- Running all surgery side payments
- Scheduling in-office procedures
- Sending appointment dates and times to patients when surgery has been scheduled.
- Sending pre-op reminders
- Managing KBS/Atwood inventory
- TRL / Profrac surgeries
- TRL N/OFF
- Call in prescriptions.
- Coordinate with ESC for supplies for procedures
- Room patients during clinic
- Turn over rooms in clinic.
- Pre-op photos (take photos and edit for side-by-side view)
- Answer patient questions via phone or email
- Provide surgery balances of pre-ops for each week.
- Prep charts for clinic
- Prep charts that are having surgery following week for KBS/Atwood
- IM injections
- Updating paperwork when needed
- Post-op appointments when RN is out (suture/drain removals)
- Creating monthly surgery breakdown spreadsheet
- Pre-op appointments (when RN is out-of-office)
- Breaking down services/products
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of medical terminology, cosmetic procedures, and skincare products
- 2 Year Experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical office or medical spa setting
- Experience answering phones in a medical office environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and management skills
- Must have proficient computer and typing skills
