Job Description
The Outpatient Therapy Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the outpatient therapy department. This role involves leadership, staff supervision, program development, quality assurance, and ensuring exceptional patient care delivery. The manager collaborates with counselors, administrative staff, and external stakeholders to ensure the effective functioning of the outpatient therapy department.
Job Duties/Responsibilities

- Team Leadership:
- Manage and provide leadership to a team of outpatient counselors
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that promotes professional growth and development and day-to-day operations.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address performance issues as needed.
- Oversight of outpatient counselor schedules to ensure productivity metrics are met.
2. Patient Care and Quality Assurance:
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality patient care by monitoring treatment plans, progress, and outcomes.
- Ensure that therapy services align with evidence-based practices and provide excellent patient experiences.
- Staff Training and Development:
- Coordinate and provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for therapy staff.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and encourage counselors to stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
- Provide new counselor training and orientation.
- Conduct: Group Supervision 1 hr/week and Administrative Supervision 1 hr/ month
3. Collaboration and Communication:
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with executive leadership, interdisciplinary teams, and administrative staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care coordination and referrals.
4. Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, licensing standards, and accreditation guidelines.
- Oversee accurate and timely documentation of patient records and treatment plans.
- Review and monitor counselor rosters monthly.

Requirements:To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below. These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job.
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in supervisory or management experience.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in outpatient therapy.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Certificates/Licenses:?To perform this job successfully, an individual must:
- Successfully pass background check applicable to position.
Physical Requirements:
