This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Bilingual TRC Service Technician based in Canada.

This role is designed for experienced automotive professionals who want to transition their hands-on mechanical expertise into a remote, advisory-based technical environment.
You will leverage your deep knowledge of automotive or truck repair to evaluate repair recommendations, ensure technical accuracy, and support cost-effective maintenance decisions.
The position plays a key role in maintaining quality, fairness, and consistency across vehicle service and repair assessments.
You will collaborate closely with internal teams in a fast-paced call center setting, providing trusted technical guidance grounded in real workshop experience.
This is a fully remote opportunity that allows you to stay connected to the automotive industry while working in a structured, performance-driven environment.
The role combines technical problem-solving, communication, and operational support, with a strong focus on service quality and customer outcomes.

Accountabilities:
  • Provide technical support based on real-world automotive or truck mechanical experience to internal teams and service stakeholders.
  • Evaluate repair recommendations to assess necessity, accuracy, scope, and alignment with industry standards.
  • Ensure maintenance and repair work is appropriately justified, executed, and fairly priced through detailed technical review.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate or challenge repair requirements when appropriate, documenting all savings and outcomes.
  • Verify that preventative maintenance schedules are technically sound and consistently applied.
  • Maintain performance metrics and contribute to operational efficiency and service quality standards.
  • Support team collaboration, professionalism, and adaptability within a remote, high-volume service environment.
Requirements:
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
  • Valid mechanic license (310S or 310T required).
  • Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in automotive or truck repair.
  • Previous experience in a contact center or customer support environment (asset).
  • Post-secondary education in automotive technology or a related field (asset).
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • ASE certification or willingness to obtain it within a defined timeline.
  • Strong communication skills, professionalism, and ability to stay solution-focused under pressure in a remote setting.
Benefits:
  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $60,080 to $85,610 CAD.
  • Performance-based compensation structure.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and life insurance coverage.
  • Group RRSP retirement savings plan.
  • 100% tuition reimbursement based on academic performance criteria.
  • Structured training and professional development opportunities.
  • Fully remote work environment with schedule flexibility within operational hours.
