- Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday thru Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Here's What You Need
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)
- Surgery Scheduling experience (strongly preferred)
- 2 Years related experience in Healthcare environment (preferred)
- Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
- Requires strong customer skills
- Good communication skills
- Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
- A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
What You Will Do
- Delivers care to patients utilizing the Surgery Scheduling Specialist Process
- S chedules all inpatient and outpatient surgery and medical procedures, tests and studies ordered by the physician
- Coordinates, registers and schedule appointments for patients according to availability
- Conducts physician pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care
- Ensures all required tests needed prior to surgery are done
- Coordinates and ensures necessary equipment is ordered, room availability/scheduled, pre-surgery medication, etc., is arranged prior to scheduled procedure
- Schedules any necessary follow-up appointments
- Communicates and answers patients' questions regarding surgery preparation instructions, arrival/departure instructions relative to procedure
- Performs other duties as assigned
