Lead Reconditioning Tech in DIberville, Mississippi at Holmes Motors INC

Position Overview:

As a Lead Reconditioning Tech at Holmes Motors, you’ll perform all the same responsibilities

as a Reconditioning Tech while also overseeing the daily operations of your location’s

reconditioning team. You will serve as the main communicator between management and

your team, ensuring workflow runs smoothly and all vehicles meet Holmes Motors’ quality

standards. The Lead Reconditioning Tech plays a vital role in maintaining efficiency, resolving

issues, and supporting the team’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all Reconditioning Tech duties, including vehicle cleaning, preparation, and lot care tasks.
• Oversee daily workflow for the reconditioning department, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Inspect completed vehicles to confirm they meet company quality standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the reconditioning team and the location’s manager.
• Diagnose and resolve day-to-day challenges or unique vehicle situations.
• Take high-quality photos of vehicles and upload them to the Holmes Motors system (if applicable at the location).
• Assist management with coordinating workflow, setting priorities, and organizing daily assignments.
• Support and guide team members by promoting teamwork and assisting with training

• Must have previous experience as a Reconditioning Tech or in a similar automotive reconditioning role.
• Must complete Lead Training provided by Holmes Motors.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
• Must be able to work in hot, cold, and outdoor conditions as needed.
• Must be able to lead a team and produce quality work in a fast-paced environment.

• Maintain a positive and professional attitude with team members and management.
• Avoid profanity or vulgar language while on company property.
• Wear company-provided uniforms after the 90-day probationary period. Shorts or pants may be worn within company guidelines.
• Wear enclosed non-slip shoes in compliance with OSHA standards.
