This is a client-facing project management role focused on driving structure, clarity, and execution across complex, multi-disciplinary digital marketing initiatives.
You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and ensure that client work is delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with strategic goals.
The role requires a strong balance of operational discipline and proactive problem-solving, with responsibility for anticipating risks and removing delivery blockers.
You will act as the central point of coordination across internal teams and client stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and prioritization.
A key focus of the role is improving workflows, optimizing resource allocation, and continuously enhancing delivery efficiency across projects.
This is a fully remote contractor opportunity offering flexibility, ownership, and exposure to high-impact digital marketing accounts.
- Serve as the primary project management lead for key client accounts, ensuring clear alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
- Build and manage integrated project plans across multiple workstreams, coordinating SEO, paid media, analytics, and UX initiatives.
- Track project budgets, hours, and costs, proactively identifying risks and escalating issues to ensure financial and operational control.
- Manage resource planning and bandwidth forecasting, ensuring optimal team allocation and workload distribution across projects.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams of 8–10+ members, driving accountability, clarity, and on-time execution.
- Use project management tools (such as Wrike or equivalent platforms) to assign tasks, track progress, and manage delivery workflows.
- Act as the key liaison between internal teams and client stakeholders at all levels, adapting communication style as needed.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce friction, and strengthen delivery consistency.
- Proactively anticipate risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, resolving issues before they impact timelines or quality.
- Proven experience in project or account management within a digital marketing, consulting, or agency environment.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing disciplines including SEO, paid media, data analytics, and UX principles.
- Experience managing complex, multi-workstream projects with cross-functional teams of 8–10+ people.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, track time, and maintain financial discipline across client engagements.
- Highly organized with excellent time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills in fast-paced environments.
- Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to independently navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Experience with project management tools such as Wrike or similar platforms.
- Passion for process improvement, operational efficiency, and continuous learning.
- Comfortable working in a fully remote, fast-changing, and deadline-driven environment.
- Hourly compensation ranging from $50–$60 USD, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Flexible part-time contractor arrangement (approximately 20–30 hours per week).
