The candidate will be responsible for the modeling and analysis (structural and dynamic) of complex opto-mechanical systems and moving parts. Working closely with lead mechanical engineers, systems engineers, and manufacturing teams, this role involves confirming structural and dynamic performance and adequacy of the STRIVE mechanical elements. Familiarity with FEMAP/NASTRAN/ANSYS is required and familiarity with generative designs and meta-materials is highly desired. STOP (structural, thermal, and optical performance) analysis shall be performed for the STRIVE ALICE system and prior experience with this is also highly desired.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum requirements - B.S. in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering
• 6+ years’ experience
