HVAC Assistant Sales Manager
Location: Tampa, FL (Acree Plumbing, Air & Electric)

Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Performance Incentives
Compensation: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 + 20% Manager Bonus Program
The HVAC Assistant Sales Manager plays a key role in supporting the performance, development, and success of Acree's HVAC sales organization. This individual will work closely with sales leadership to coach Comfort Advisors, improve sales performance, increase close rates, and drive revenue growth across the HVAC department.
This role is ideal for a proven HVAC sales professional who enjoys mentoring others, conducting ride-alongs, improving sales processes, and helping teams achieve their full potential.
The ideal candidate combines strong residential HVAC sales experience with leadership capabilities, coaching skills, and a passion for customer service.

The HVAC Assistant Sales Manager plays a key role in supporting the performance, development, and success of Acree's HVAC sales organization. What You'll DoSales Leadership & Team Development- Assist in leading, coaching, and developing HVAC Comfort Advisors and sales team members
- Conduct ride-alongs, field observations, and sales coaching sessions
- Support onboarding and training of new sales professionals
- Reinforce accountability and performance expectations
- Assist with performance evaluations and development plans
- Foster a positive, customer-focused, high-performance culture
- Support the development and execution of HVAC sales strategies
- Help drive revenue growth, replacement sales, and financing penetration
- Improve close rates, average ticket, and overall sales effectiveness
- Assist with lead management, opportunity tracking, and pipeline review
- Participate in complex or high-value sales opportunities as needed
- Support exceptional customer experiences throughout the sales process
- Assist in resolving escalated customer concerns
- Build relationships with customers, field teams, and operational leaders
- Ensure sales practices align with company standards and customer expectations
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, including:
- Close Rate
- Average Ticket
- Revenue Per Lead
- Financing Penetration
- Lead Conversion
- Customer Satisfaction
- Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend corrective actions
- Assist in preparing sales forecasts and performance reports
- Help standardize sales presentations, workflows, and best practices
- Support CRM and ServiceTitan utilization
- Assist with sales process improvements and training initiatives
- Partner with Operations, Service, Installation, and Call Center teams to improve results and customer outcomes
- 3+ years of residential HVAC sales experience
- Previous leadership, mentoring, coaching, or sales management experience preferred
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong understanding of residential HVAC replacement sales
- Experience conducting in-home sales consultations
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong coaching and performance development abilities
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting tools
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass background screening, drug screening, and motor vehicle review
- Previous experience as a Sales Manager, Assistant Sales Manager, or Lead Comfort Advisor
- Experience with ServiceTitan
- Knowledge of financing programs and value-based selling techniques
- Experience conducting ride-alongs and field coaching
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field preferred
- Full-Time
- Typical Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Hours may vary based on business needs, training activities, and customer demand
- Occasional evenings and weekends may be required
- Combination of office, field, and customer-facing environments
- Frequent travel within the Tampa Bay service area
- Regular ride-alongs and in-home sales observations
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and more as needed
