Aerospace Hand Finisher / Deburr Operator (Local Candidates Only)

A well-established aerospace manufacturing company in Phoenix is looking for an experienced Deburr Operator. You need to be detailed oriented, highly organized, creative, flexible and a great team player.

Essential Duties:
This position will hand-finish and deburr a wide variety of metal parts for the Aerospace industry.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to polish, clean, break edges and remove burrs on precision machined parts made from a variety of materials to specified customer specification or blueprint and tolerances by specifications by using established procedures, machines, and tooling.
• Ability to use a wide variety of basic deburr and hand finish tools, both electric and pneumatic such as (right angle grinder, die grinder, orbital sanders, and Foredom hand-finish tools and equipment).
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and instructions and visually and dimensionally inspects parts for burrs and sharp edges.
• Perform rework assignments as required
• Ensure all parts paperwork and documentation is completed properly.
• May perform other duties as requested

• Employment Requirements:
• Minimum 2+ years of hand finishing experience (aerospace preferred)
• Reliable transportation
• Great attendance record
• Safety glasses required in designated areas
• Must exercise care and safe work practices to avoid cuts and nicks
