Statement of Learning Outcomes for FWS Student Employees:
The Student Aide will learn how to work in a team environment and will become acquainted with the daily office procedures at the Registration & Records Office.
Function of Position:
This position requires face-to-face student interaction at our service window as well as processing registration documents.
This position is funded exclusively through Federal Work Study (FWS). Applicants must be approved by the Financial Aid Office for FWS eligibility prior to being considered for employment. If you are unsure of your FWS eligibility, please contact Financial Aid before applying. Applicants must include their M# in any correspondence with the Financial Aid Office.
Examples of Duties & Responsibilities:
Registration data entry
Scanning documents
Linking and auditing student records
Providing customer service at the window, including answering phones, filing, and shredding documents
Assist with graduation process/filing

Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
Must be currently enrolled as a student at Monroe Community College
Must maintain satisfactory academic progress and be in good academic standing
Federal Work Study eligibility is required for FWS-funded positions (must be approved by the Financial Aid Office prior to hire)
Student must have time available to work 10-20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:45-4:45 PM.
Student must have a current FAFSA on file and be awarded FWS through financial aid.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual and able to read, write, and speak Spanish, or other languages proficiently
Additional Information:
Pay Rate: $16.00/hour
Hours per Week: Up to 20 hours/week
Semester Hiring: Fall 2026 Semester
