Property Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina at Cape Group LLC

Cape Asset Management is seeking a Senior Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial retail shopping centers and grocery-anchored properties.
This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, maintaining strong tenant relationships, managing vendors and maintenance operations, and supporting the financial performance of the portfolio.

We are looking for an experienced commercial property management professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high-quality retail assets.

Responsibilities Include:
Managing day-to-day operations of multiple shopping centers
Conducting property inspections and overseeing maintenance
Managing vendors, service contracts, and capital projects
Preparing budgets and monitoring property expenses
Supporting tenant communication and retention
Coordinating with accounting, leasing, and construction teams
Ensuring properties remain compliant and well-maintained

Qualifications:
5+ years of commercial property management experience
Retail shopping center experience preferred
Strong budgeting and operational management skills
Experience with Yardi preferred
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and properties simultaneously
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
