As a Workday Certified Time Tracking & Absence Consultant, you will lead and support Workday deployment activities, providing functional expertise and ensuring solutions meet client requirements. You will collaborate with project teams, guide clients through adoption, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide specialised expertise in Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking solutions.
- Lead or support Workday deployment activities, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, prototyping, testing, and knowledge transfer.
- Analyse client business processes and translate requirements into effective Workday configurations.
- Support data conversion activities and ensure accurate migration of legacy information into Workday.
- Assist integration teams with configuring and testing connections between Workday and external systems.
- Collaborate with project managers by providing status updates, identifying risks, and supporting project health.
- Maintain strong client relationships by ensuring satisfaction, successful adoption, and effective use of Workday best practices.
- Mentor and coach other consultants by sharing product knowledge, implementation experience, and industry expertise.
- Contribute to proposals, demonstrations, conferences, and client-facing presentations when required.
- Identify opportunities to improve deployment approaches, tools, and delivery processes.
- Maintain Workday certifications and stay current with platform updates and best practices.
The ideal candidate is an experienced Workday professional with strong functional knowledge of Time Tracking and Absence solutions, combined with consulting experience and excellent communication skills. You should be comfortable working with clients, managing complex projects, and delivering high-quality solutions.
- Current Workday Partner Absence and/or Time Tracking Certification.
- 4+ years of experience configuring and implementing Payroll, Absence, and/or Time Tracking (PATT) solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Previous consulting experience within a software, technology, or professional services environment.
- Experience deploying Workday or similar enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, or related HR systems.
- Strong functional expertise in Payroll, Absence, and/or Time Tracking processes.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects, timelines, and delivery objectives.
- Excellent business analysis and requirements gathering skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities with a client-focused approach.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies through structured training and self-guided learning.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design scalable and efficient solutions.
- Experience managing multiple HCM or payroll implementations simultaneously is a plus.
- Willingness to travel approximately 20% depending on project requirements.
