Job Description

Chef2home offers medically tailored meals delivered to the client's home. The Customer Service Associate is responsible for working directly with both the Insurance Company's Case Managers and their clients to assist them with setting up new business, qualifying clients, setting up billing, making changes to current orders, or answering questions regarding their accounts. This work will be done both over the phone or via email, with the Agent responsible for filling out necessary documentation on each interaction.

A good candidate for this position will be proficient in:

• Answering calls: Answering inbound calls and making outbound calls

• Communication: Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral communication

• Listening: Actively listening to customers to identify their needs, concerns, and complaints

• Problem-solving: Finding solutions to customer needs and answering their questions

• Building relationships: Building trust and reliability with customers and clients

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Manage a large number of incoming calls and emails from consumers and case managers

• Assist with placement of orders, changes or cancellations

• Maintain accurate records of consumer and case manager interaction and details of actions taken

• Receive and review new referrals for home delivered meals, ensuring all necessary information is complete and accurate

• Conduct assessments to determine eligibility for home delivered meal services based on program guidelines and funding source requirements

• Communicate with Case Managers, consumers, and caregivers to gather additional information as needed

• Collaborate with delivery team to coordinate meal deliveries

• Provide excellent customer service to consumers and their families, addressing any concerns or inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Maintain confidentiality of client information in compliance with HIPAA regulations

• Participate in staff meetings and trainings as required

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent

• Team player, able to work in a dynamic environment

• Strong client-facing and communication skills

• Excellent communication, administrative and multitasking skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Comfortable using a computer
